Beacon of Hope
A nationwide contest that rewards deserving Veteran homeowners, Veteran organizations, and Gold Star Families with secure roofs.
Established in 2019, this program was created to give back to our Veterans a basic need: a secure place to live. We hope to inspire our employees, customers and communities to come together to assist us in providing deserving veterans a "Beacon of Hope."
Now in its sixth year, Beacon of Hope is part of Beacon’s commitment to Building Better for its Communities. The program is open to all military Veterans in the U.S. and Canada. Together with local roofing companies, Beacon will deliver and fully fund a safe, durable roof for 14 residential winners and two community buildings. The new roof will feature TRI-BUILT ® products, Beacon’s high quality private label brand, and products from CertainTeed. Since launching the program in 2018, Beacon has installed over 50 roofs that helped our Veterans gain confidence and pride in their homes. The 2025 program will kick-off in August.
